The Diros Caves are the most beautiful caves not only in Greece but in the whole of the world as well. The Vlichada or Glyfada Cave is the only one open to the public from the Diros Caves, and the most well known around Greece. It is 10,000 sq m wide and 3.5 km long, of which 3,100 m are open to visitors, while 300 m are dry land. The Glyfadas River flows into the cave, where at some parts it widens and becomes a lake.

After a 45 minute boat ride, the visitors pass from a large number of chambers and arches named First Room, Dead City, the Crossroad of Nereids, the Lake of Ocean Nymphs, Pink and White Room, and the Big Ocean, admiring numerous stalactites in very interesting formations. In the cave, important life forms have been discovered such as prehistoric ox and hippopotamus bones. The cave has a temperature of 18ºC and its depth is 15.5 m.
